Glasgow Rocks vs Surrey Scorchers – Preview

Scorchers Head Coach Creon Raftopoulos says his team have ‘a lot to prove’ as they travel to Glasgow Rocks and Leicester Riders this weekend.

Surrey currently sit bottom of the BBL Championship with one win and five defeats from their opening six games.

Creon’s side begin the weekend with a trip to Glasgow Rocks on Friday night live on Sky Sports!

It’s a quick turnaround as the team then face the in-form Leicester Riders on Sunday evening.

Looking ahead to the fixtures, Creon Raftopoulos said: “There are no easy games, and Glasgow have shown their ability by beating a very good Plymouth team and an equally good Sheffield team.

“We aren’t taking anything for granted and we have a lot to prove.

“Leicester are a great team and Rob has done an excellent job of putting that group together.

“Their team chemistry is up there, and that is what we are striving for and building towards.”
