Captain Tayo commits to Scorchers

Tayo Ogedengbe has re-signed for Surrey Scorchers for the 2017/18 British Basketball League season.

The guard/forward joined Scorchers from Glasgow Rocks in 2015 and will captain the side once again.
 
Ogedengbe finished last season with a 14.33 ppg average, appearing a total of 41 times across all competitions.
 
Starting his Basketball career in 2007 with the London Capitals, Tayo has played for a number of BBL sides including Guildford/Surrey Heat and also spending time in France's Nationale Masculine 2 with Calais.
 
Fans will get their first chance to watch Tayo in action next season as he leads his side out at the first ever British Basketball All-Stars Basketball Championships at The O2 Arena in September.
