Following last week’s BBL Trophy 1st round draw, we can confirm that Scorchers will travel to the Newcastle Eagles for a 7.30pm tip-off on Friday 8th December.
The 5 times Trophy winners will host Scorchers for their second meeting this season, as Coach Creon’s side look to reach their first knockout competition final since 2011.
Confirmation of this tie means that the home game vs Sheffield Sharks, originally scheduled for Saturday 9th December, will now be pushed back just under 24 hours to 5pm on Sunday 10th December.
Tickets purchased for the Sharks game remain valid and no exchanges are required. Fans who can no longer attend the game are entitled to a refund – email tickets@surreyscorchers.co.uk for more information.
Scorchers are on the road this week with a long trip to the Glasgow Rocks on Sunday evening, before welcoming the Worcester Wolves to the Sports Park for a 2pm tip-off on Sunday 26th November.
