Surrey Scorchers are delighted to confirm all games at the Sports Park Arena during 2019-20 will have a special ‘theme’ to enhance your gameday experience and engage with different sections of our local community.
The first home game, against Worcester Wolves on Saturday 28 September at 7pm, has been designated Fan Appreciation Day, to celebrate our loyal supporters and what it means to be a Scorchers fan. Click here for full details.

Sat 19 Oct, 7pm – London City Royals – The Big Draw: Scorchers join the world’s largest drawing festival and the 2019 theme of Drawn To Life, which focuses on ‘the vital role of creativity for health and wellbeing’. We will work with local schools and community groups on filling the Arena with artwork – and a few Scorchers players might submit their own entries too! Tickets here
Sat 26 Oct, 7pm – London Lions – Breast Cancer Awareness: A day for everybody to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a cause close to the heart of the Raftopoulos family. In collaboration with CoppaFeel and Breast Cancer Awareness, Scorchers will share information and raise funds for the most common form of cancer in the UK. Tickets here
Sat 2 Nov, 7pm – Bristol Flyers – Remembrance Day: A day to celebrate and remember our region’s strong military heritage and the sacrifices made by previous generations. We will offer special ticket details to all service personnel and their families – who will also be invited to fulfil gameday duties including player escorts and Guard of Honour – and work with the Royal British Legion on a poignant remembrance ceremony in the Arena before tip-off. Sun 17 Nov, 2pm – Plymouth Raiders – Men’s Health Awareness Month: November is Men’s Health Awareness Month, and a chance to grow some impressive facial hair in support of Movember to raise awareness of conditions including prostate and testicular cancer and male suicide. Gameday will see prizes for the best facial hair! Tickets here
Sat 7 Dec, 7pm – Bristol Flyers – Eagle Radio Christmas Toy Appeal: Scorchers will again support the 23rd-annual Eagle Radio Toy Appeal, by inviting supporters to donate a Christmas gift to local disadvantaged children who may not otherwise receive a present. Tickets here
Fri 20 Dec, 7pm – Cheshire Phoenix – It’s Christmas!: Meet Scorcher Santa and wear your best / worst Christmas jumper with pride as we celebrate the festive season – and the start of a few days off work! Tickets here
Wed 1 Jan, 2pm – Manchester Giants – NYE After-Party: Always one of our most popular games of the season! Advance booking is highly recommended as we help you continue your celebrations well into 2020. Tickets here
Sat 11 Jan, 7pm – Newcastle Eagles – Love Island Night: Join the Scorchers’ own beach party to celebrate the new series of the TV phenomenon! The Sports Park Arena becomes Casa Amor for one night only with a beach party fancy dress theme, fairy lights and cocktails to make it feel just like summer again. Crack on! Tickets here
Sat 18 Jan, 7pm – Plymouth Raiders – Public Services Day: A day to celebrate our emergency services, Armed Forces, NHS staff and more as we invite our local heroes to join us at the Sports Park Arena, take part in quarter-time competitions and receive their own Guard of Honour. Tickets here
Sat 8 Feb, 7pm – Leicester Riders – Children’s Day / Junior Takeover: A day for our youngest fans to take over the Sports Park Arena by filling key gameday roles including PA announcer, press officer, photographer, kitman and even Coach – plus loads more family fun! Sat 15 Feb, 7pm – Glasgow Rocks – Alternative Valentine’s Day: The last chance to woo your beloved in our romantic ‘Valentine’s… and 1’ night – or maybe to meet your new beau? Couples compete against each other in our Kit Race and Long Shot – and you might even win a special prize with our Scorchers-themed love limerick contest! Tickets here
Sat 7 Mar, 7pm – London Lions – Sport Relief: Join Scorchers in getting active, having fun and changing lives with a series of sport and fitness challenges throughout the week leading up to the game, with the best getting a chance to show off their skills at the Sports Park Arena! Tickets here
Fri 27 Mar, 7:00pm – Sheffield Sharks – Eagle Radio Easter Egg Appeal: Scorchers will again support the annual Eagle Radio Easter Egg Appeal, by inviting supporters to donate a chocolate egg to local disadvantaged children who may not otherwise receive one. Tickets here
Fri 10 Apr, 7:00pm – London City Royals – Easter: Join Scorcher on an Easter Egg hunt and enjoy a basket-full of family fun at the Sports Park Arena. Tickets here
Sun 19 Apr, 2pm – Worcester Wolves – End of Season Party: The final home game of the (regular) season, and a chance to celebrate the team’s efforts with our Awards Ceremony and a special post-game party. Tickets here
