The British Basketball League has today confirmed the full fixture schedule for the 2016/17 season.
Scorchers will host London Lions in a mouth-watering opening weekend game at Surrey Sports Park on Saturday 24th September, before travelling to the Plymouth Raiders the following day.
Reigning champions Leicester Riders will head to Guildford in round 3 (Friday 30 September) before all attention turns to the BBL Cup on Saturday 1st October for an evening tip away at Bristol.
New Year’s Day sees the Lions visit for a second time in the campaign and a season showdown against Bristol on Sunday 23rd April could prove vital in the race for the Championship Play-offs.
Following last week’s announcement of a ground-breaking broadcast deal secured with BBC Sport, Scorchers will welcome the Plymouth Raiders for their first ever live TV game on Friday 17th February.

Season Tickets
2015/16 season ticket holders have just under two weeks to secure their usual seats at a special discounted rate, as a thank you for your loyalty last season.
Those who purchased season tickets last year will be contacted by email with prices and details on how to renew.
Season tickets will go on general sale at 3pm on Monday 25th July from £153 for adults and £93.50 for children, meaning you don’t have to miss a piece of the action for just £9 per game!
